BEST TRAVEL ADVICE: When planning a trip, make sure you always have the most current destination information. The hotspots are constantly changing – what once was the trendy hotel, restaurant, or nightclub, may now be a thing of the past. Clients also tend to pack too many destinations, sites or doings into a limited number of days. It’s important to have a clear plan in order to maximize your time and experience in each destination.

BEST TRAVEL ADVICE: When traveling to a foreign destination, I always recommend booking a tour guide for your first full day instead of waiting until later in the trip. That way, you can get a thorough orientation from the start, instead of winging it on your own and missing out. Also, you can pick their brain for great tips and local suggestions to use during the rest of your stay.

THE REASON I DO WHAT I DO: Travel, entertainment, good food and great experiences are what everyone works hard to be able to include in their lives. I am lucky enough to have a job that revolves around these things and making them realities for my clients. What’s not to love?

BEST TRAVEL ADVICE: Do research on your destination before going. Carve out an afternoon when you can have the hotel or a driver drop you off far away (and safe, of course) from where you are staying. Spend the day walking back to the hotel, without a guide or anyone, and just get lost in the city - it is the best way to immerse yourself in the country and their culture. Plus, you never know what hidden gems you’ll stumble upon!

THE REASON I DO WHAT I DO: I have been so fortunate enough to travel to some incredible places and I love being able to help others create unforgettable memories. I am constantly learning about fascinating new places and meeting so many different people that help broaden my perspective on the world. FAVORITE DESTINATION I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND: The Resort at Paws Up in Montana (each April, they host “Wine & Bitch,” a luxury vacation designed for the canine and owner, where humans will enjoy wine tastings and rustic ranch cuisine and dogs will rejuvenate with doggie spa treatments and gourmet treats)

HOTELS I WISH I LIVED IN: Meadowood Napa Valley (they really gave me the royal treatment with a fun-filled day that included a spa treatment and a game of croquet - they even made my parents a Meadowoof Journal that has photos of me doing it all!), Acqualina Miami Beach (they gave me a personalized water bottle upon arrival, the dog butler took me for a walk, and gave me treats) and Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale (they gave me a personalized blanket, collar, and doggy bed)

DESTINATIONS ON MY RADAR: St. Tropez (hopefully my owners will take me next year!)

ON MY BUCKET LIST: Hotel deLuxe Portland – the entire 3rd floor is dedicated to dogs, and the services range from dog room service to dog massage to even a dog psychic!
