As summer is slowly starting to creep up on us, it’s safe to say we’re longing for our favorite European escapes… And if your family of two has grown to be three, four or more — there are so many incredible places where you can bring the kids (and where your time is just as precious as theirs!). THE ACCOMMODATIONS. For families, book the Family Suite — it’s a spacious and very beautiful 2-bedroom suite that has two full bathrooms, a sitting room and a terrace. If your kids are a little bit older and you would prefer to have some sense of privacy — you’ll have the option to activate the keys to the main door of the suite or only have it activated to each of the separate doors that lead directly to the bedrooms.

THE KIDS CLUB & ACTIVITIES. There’s a really cute mini-club on property for kids ages 3-14 with an abundance of activities to choose from (and changes every day): origami, pottery, face painting, cooking classes, music & dance, puppet workshops, indoor & outdoor games and more! There’s also a Racquet Club on property with tennis & paddle tennis courts and they offer private lessons for your little ones!
THE FACILITIES & SPA. With a total of four pools (including a family-friendly one plus an adults-only that is great for when the kids are at the kids club all day!), a beach club, a spectacular spa, a championship golf course and more — there’s enough on property for everyone to be happy!
Of note: the beach club is nothing short of amazing. It’s less than a mile away and can be accessed via a short private shuttle ride… The vibe is relaxed, yet sophisticated and the kids are welcome! The service is top-notch and there’s also an infinity pool flanked by lush gardens, balinese bed and sun loungers.
While the kids spend the day at the mini club treat yourself to the spectacular spa… At almost 24,000-square-feet, there’s everything one could want in a spa: a saltwater pool, relaxation & thermal areas featuring a Turkish bath, a Finnish sauna, a cool snow cave (the only of its kind in Spain) and more! Should you be in need of a romantic time for two: try the signature couples treatment in the Spa Suite (appropriately named ‘Time for 2’) with your loved one, which includes a relaxing bath, champaign, fruits and customized body massages. For that much needed “me time” treat yourself to a Biologique Recherche or Tata Harper body treatment that will get you glowing in no time. For him — a sports massage will do the trick after a round of golf at the 18-hole championship course!
THE DINING. With five outlets on property — we’ll just say this: the culinary options at Finca Cortesin is a foodies heaven… When the kids aren’t having lunch at the mini club, the Beach Club is a must where they’ll go gaga for some chicken paella. For nights that you want to bring the kids to dinner, Don Giovanni's is a good choice with a menu that features lots of family-favorite Italian dishes (and truffles for those of us who can’t resist!). If your children are under 10 or just really want a date night, have a guilt-free dinner (thank goodness for babysitting services!) at the hotel’s signature restaurant Kabuki Raw or a relaxed-yet-elegant evening on the terrace at El Jardín de Lutz for Spanish plates. Pre-dinner cocktails or nightcaps are a must at the hotel’s Blue Bar lounge.
